White Balance & Color Temperature

Different types of lights produce differnt colors. Tungsten is 3500 degrees (K)elvin while Daylight is 6500K. A camera setting allows correcting for the environment lighting color temperature. Degrees Kelvin is calculated by the color given off by the heating of a Blackbody object to variouse degrees Kelvin.
